Jesse Ventura asks a question
The angry middle is very, very large... and includes people formerly of both parties; all interested in a return to democracy and the American Republic. And every one of us has questions... oh do we have questions. Questions that no one will answer.
We need a third party. Ron Paul is the only Independent still standing. He's also the only candidate talking about REALLY ending war - all war - and returning this nation to a Republic.
Remember the Pledge of Allegiance? "... and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands..." There is also a line about 'with liberty and justice for all.' I'm not seeing that here anymore.
Many of our ancestors went through hell to get here, so that their descendants could live free. We owe them better than to cower every time George Bush tells us to be afraid of our own shadows. We used to call ourselves the land of the free and the home of the brave. Currently we are neither. We have become a nation of cowards. Our ancestors are spinning in their graves.
I applaud Ron Paul. The longer I watch the Democrats seemingly hell bent on losing; and after listening to Obama's 'tough talk' about foreign policy, I am reserving my vote for the last minute.
I'll probably vote for Obama; because he isn't a Neocon fascist, and he has the best chance to win. But if he doesn't put up a real fight - for our Constitution, for justice, for peace, and for a return to real freedom and democracy - I'm glad to have Ron Paul as an option.
Democracy and Constitution before anything else.
