What would Lincoln do?

Let every American, every lover of liberty, every well wisher to his posterity, swear by the blood of the Revolution, never to violate in the least particular, the laws of the country; and never to tolerate their violation by others.

As the patriots of seventy-six did to the support of the Declaration of Independence, so to the support of the Constitution and Laws, let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law, is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear the charter of his own, and his children's liberty.

Didn't any of these people hear that Barack's mom is White (and from Kansas?) Barack has within him a little bit of all of us. He is - even genetically - the great uniter. And his words bring people together, instead of tearing them apart with hatred and ignorance.

But of course, there are always going to be those (McCain and Palin) who will attack anything that unites us as a people.

If we had any reliable national media in this nation, these people would be informed by now. The rest of the planet knows more about Barack Obama than these American citizens.

How embarrassing. How shameful.
