What would Lincoln do?

Let every American, every lover of liberty, every well wisher to his posterity, swear by the blood of the Revolution, never to violate in the least particular, the laws of the country; and never to tolerate their violation by others.

As the patriots of seventy-six did to the support of the Declaration of Independence, so to the support of the Constitution and Laws, let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law, is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear the charter of his own, and his children's liberty.

Jon Stewart: Even Dick don't know Dick

I linked to this clip of 1994 Cheney a few days ago... absolutely remarkable. Can a man change so much; forget so much of what he once obviously knew, in such a short period of time?

Could a war that was so obviously a terrible idea in 1990... oh never mind. We'll never know, will we?

It appears that Cheney 2004 'can't recall' Cheney 1994.

It would appear that an outbreak of mass amnesia -- of nearly epic proportion -- hit the White House at some point within the last 6 years. Do you imagine it was mold in the ductwork?
